Our joinery and upholstery workshops

Taurus’s beds and furniture have always been manufactured by hand, in the UK.

For many years we built all our products in our London workshop. However, rental costs in London, combined with the fact that many of our online orders are being delivered to the North, Midlands or Scotland, made it sensible to relocate our workshop out of London. This lets us keep down the prices at which we are able to sell our beds and furniture. Both our joinery and upholstery workshops are here in the UK, contributing to the UK economy.

Both our workshop teams have many years of experience in building top quality beds and bedroom furniture.

The individual components of each bed or other item are machined for your specific order.

This is why, should you ask us to make your bed with the legs half an inch shorter or longer, or with an extra two inches of length for your 6’ 8” friend, it’s no problem at all.
