Grosvenor Upholstered Divan Bed
Description
With its line of neatly ordered, generously upholstered wide vertical panels, the super-practical Grosvenor Upholstered Divan bed has a chic, contemporary minimalism that looks fantastic in so many modern bedroom settings. In addition to this, bed is available with: a range of built-in drawer options giving storage on one or both sides; an ottoman trunk with two individual half bed-width trunks accessed by raising the entire mattress platform (on pneumatic supports and with mattress in place), from the foot end of the bed; or simply as a divan base without any storage at all.
In all cases (other than Single sizes), the upholstered divan base consists of two compartments locked together. On beds with drawers, the two halves of the base are each full width, one to the headend and the other to the footend. On the ottoman storage version, the two halves of the base are each full length, and sit side by side.
The bed is craftsman upholstered in our workshop. The mattress platform consists of pliable timber slats held in place within a precision engineered metal frame. This is fixed secuely to the divan base or, in the case of the Divan Ottoman configuration, to raisable pneumatic supports. In either case, the bed can accommodate any of our huge range of mattresses, so you’re free to choose the type and firmness you like best.
The divan base is raised just a little from the floor on chrome feet, positioned at each corner of the two divan base halves.

Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. If you need the external dimensions of the bed itself in a particular size, please refer to the Measurements table.
