Hampstead Upholstered Ottoman Bed
Description
A stunning and practical centrepiece, the Hampstead Upholstered Ottoman bed is a magnificent semi-sleigh bed, with a generously upholstered headboard, deep-buttoned in classic diamond pattern, and head end that scrolls out elegantly towards the top. In addition to all of this, the mattress platform lifts easily from the foot end, with the mattress in place, to give access to an undivided, full-size storage area in the base of the bed.
The bed is craftsman upholstered in our workshop around a sturdy timber frame. The mattress platform, which consists of pliable timber slats held in place within a precision metal frame, raises easily thanks to pneumatic support struts positioned on each side. The bed can accommodate any of our huge range of mattresses, so you’re free to choose the type and firmness you really like best.
The ottoman base descends almost to the floor, with the bed raised just a little on four finely finished wooden rests, positioned at each corner.

Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. If you need the external dimensions of the bed itself in a particular size, please refer to the Measurements table.
