Kyoto Midi Bed
Description
The Kyoto Midi Bed is one of our range of four Kyoto models, and works beautifully in modern apartments. All the Kyotos are designed to help save space, so that the width and length of the bed are exactly the same as that of the mattress they are carrying, with quadrant corner posts that follow the corner profile of the mattress. (On our non-Kyoto beds, the frame tends to add about 4.75 in (12cm) to the dimensions of the mattress.) The Kyoto Midi is raised up a short height (when compared to the Kyoto Platform), but sits less high off the floor than the Kyoto Bed. As this bed sits closer to the floor than the Kyoto Bed, or any of our other bed models, there is insufficient height available to allow our Underbed Drawers to be used.

Specifying your bed
Use the finish selector swatch or dropdown menu to decide which finish would look best in your space. Then pick the size you want. Once you’ve done this, click ‘Build Your Bed’ and our bed Builder will open. You’ll then be able to choose a mattress and add underbed drawers.

Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. Because of its unique space-saving design, you can consider the width and length of the Kyoto Bed wooden frame as being exactly the same as those of the mattress.
Lead time
Your Taurus wooden bed will be handbuilt for you in our factory to your exact choice of style, size and finish, as well as any bespoke adjustments you might ask for. Naturally, to build a beautiful, quality bed for you takes a few days. We aim to deliver beds in 4-6 weeks from receiving your order. We’ll agree your actual delivery date with you when we telephone you to confirm the order. If it’s important to you to have your bed sooner than 4-6 weeks, please tell us and we’ll see what we can do to help.
