Trundle Bed
Description
The Trundle Bed (shown beneath our Standard Bed frame), can fit under any of our bed models except the Kyotos. It may just be the best investment you ever make, solving the eternal need for a spare bed for occasional guests. Just pull out your Trundle on its easy-to-roll castors. The regular orthopaedic Trundle Mattress, which is made to a special size for this bed, is suitable for both children and adults. (When you purchase this item, you are buying the roll-out Trundle Bed only, and not the Standard Bed shown with it in the picture.)
Specifying your bed
Use the finish selector to help you decide which finish would look best in your space. Then pick the size you want and tell us how many you’d like. (Well, sometimes people want more than one!) Once you’ve done that, carry on and add a mattress… and maybe some of our big, strong, wheeled underbed storage drawers. If you have questions, or need more details about any of our beds or bedroom furniture, just call us or use our contact form.
Bed Measurements
Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. If you need the external dimensions of the wooden frame for this bed, add 4.75in (12cm) to the length and width.
Lead time
Your Taurus wooden bed will be handbuilt for you in our factory to your exact choice of style, size and finish, as well as any bespoke adjustments you might ask for. Naturally, to build a beautiful, quality bed for you takes a few days. We aim to deliver beds in 4-6 weeks from receiving your order. We’ll agree your actual delivery date with you when we telephone you to confirm the order. If it’s important to you to have your bed sooner than 4-6 weeks, please tell us and we’ll see what we can do to help.

"We have two Trundles! We bought the first one to go beneath the bed in our daughter's room, to make it easy for her to have a friend to stay without having to mess around with a fold away bed. When she first got it she loved it so much she often used to sleep on it for fun rather than in her bed!
