Waverley Bed
Description
The Waverley Bed is one of our most popular and contemporary designs. The spaces between the parallel rails on the head end and foot end have soft waveform that echo the complementary principle of yin and yang. The Waverley works very nicely in all finishes. The waxes and lacquers help it sit comfortably into almost any interior, while the eau de nil, white and buttermilk painted finishes give it a more designer look. A really nice twist on a symmetrical bed styling.
Specifying your bed
Use the finish selector to help you decide which finish would look best in your space. Then pick the size you want and tell us how many you’d like. (Well, sometimes people want more than one!) Once you’ve done that, carry on and add a mattress… and maybe some of our big, strong, wheeled underbed storage drawers. If you have questions, or need more details about any of our beds or bedroom furniture, just call us or use our contact form.
Bed Measurements
Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. If you need the external dimensions of the wooden frame for this bed, add 4.75in (12cm) to the length and width.
Lead time
Your Taurus wooden bed will be handbuilt for you in our factory to your exact choice of style, size and finish, as well as any bespoke adjustments you might ask for. Naturally, to build a beautiful, quality bed for you takes a few days. We aim to deliver beds in 4-6 weeks from receiving your order. We’ll agree your actual delivery date with you when we telephone you to confirm the order. If it’s important to you to have your bed sooner than 4-6 weeks, please tell us and we’ll see what we can do to help.
