Wimbledon Upholstered Guest Frame Bed
Description
Based on the design of our popular Knightsbridge Upholstered Frame bed, the Wimbledon Upholstered Guest bed is a fantastic, practical, space-saving solution that gives you an extra bed for kids’ sleepovers, or the occasional unexpected adult. The main bed headboard is upholstered with horizontal panels with gently rounded ends, giving a clean and simple styling that works beautifully in modern bedrooms. The upholstered footend is a single panel which hides the guest bed from site.
The bed is craftsman upholstered in our workshop around a sturdy timber frame. The mattress platform consists of pliable timber slats held in place within a precision metal frame. This means it can accommodate any of our huge range of Single size mattresses (6′ 3″” x 3′ 0″”), so you’re free to choose the type and firmness you really like best.
In the space underneath the main bed, there’s a matching upholstered frame ‘guest’ bed. This rolls out effortlessly on casters. Because it must fit underneath the main unit its mattress is the same length as on the top bed, though a little narrower. So you must select a Small Single size mattress (6′ 3″” x 2′ 6″”) for this bed.
The bed is supported on simple wooden feet and is available in more than 80 fabric options to help you create exactly the look you want.

Bed sizes are always described using the size of the mattress the bed takes, so the dimensions you’ll see on our Bed Size menu are actually the length and width of the mattress. If you need the external dimensions of the bed itself in a particular size, please refer to the Measurements table.
